Before ordering



When should we request the invitations?

Requests for Invitations and Save The Dates must be requested at least 3 months in advance of sending, so please get in touch soon to reserve your spot.




What are your prices?

Due to the intensive design and printing process, the invitations are relatively more expensive than regular printing techniques and invitations that you can order online. All invitations are printed one by one on the antique press. The price partly depends on the design, printing techniques, circulation and extras. The fixed design costs for Save the Dates are €250 and for invitations this is €500, on top of which are the printing and material costs.
Most couples spend between €600 - €1000 on Save the Dates, €1700 - €3000 on wedding invitations and €500 - €3000 On the Day items.




Can we receive a sample pack?

Yes! When we start working together, I will send you a sample package with real wedding stationery that I have designed and made and a pack with all kinds of papers.




Can we receive an actual proof of our design?

Most printing is printed on an antique printing press, metal printing plates must be made for each unique design, so it is not possible to receive a proof of your specific design. You will receive a digital mock-up that imitates the final result as much as possible so that you get a good idea of ​​the final design.




Payment

Before we start designing you will receive an invoice for the design costs: €200 for Save the Dates and €500 for wedding cards. You will receive the final invoice for the printing costs before the cards are printed.




Number of invitations



How many invitations should we order?

When ordering wedding invitations, it can be difficult to determine exactly how many you need. I recommend that you consider a number of factors to help you make the right decision:
1. First think about the number of guests you are inviting and whether they are individuals, couples or families. Some guests may only need one invitation, while others may need multiple invitations.
2. It is also important to consider ordering additional invitations in case of errors, lost in the mail, or last-minute additions to your guest list.
3. It is always a good idea to order a few extra ones to keep for yourself.
4. Also take a few invitations with you to your wedding location so that the photographer can capture them in your wedding photoalbum.




What is the minimum order amount?

30 for Letterpress, Blinddruk, Preegdruk en Foliedruk technieken.
10 for flat printing.




What if we need extra invitations after ordering?

When the invitations are printed on the antique printing press it can be expensive to have a few extra invitations reprinted. This is because the press must be set up differently for each design and some elements must be printed separately. I always advise my couples to add 10 extra cards to their invitation set to avoid high printing press setup costs.
